Poor Monico Futrell...murdered at 19.
Found this grave in a small family cemetery in the backwoods of the Land Between the Lakes Nat'l Park, KY.
On an interesting note, there were more than a dozen of these tiny family cemeteries in the park... The wnewest grave we saw at this one was dated 2005, with the oldest dating in the mid-1800's. Several of the tombstones were like this one, unprofessionally hand carved in what appears to be concrete.

definitely.... and handcarved to deliberately and crookedly. It couldn't have been an easy task, yet whoever did it persevered to add that last bit of information.
